He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Drakeford and Elizabeth McLeod Drakeford; and his siblings, Rodney Drakeford, Gilbert Irvis and Dorothy McLeod.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Nelson-Drakeford; his sons, Robert Bryan "Bobby" Drakeford and Derrick "Rudy" Drakeford (Iris); his stepchildren, Lars Henry Nelson, Eric Kevin Nelson, Christian Matthew Nelson, Thomas Lee Nelson, Heather Trollinger and Lynn Nelson; his sisters, Caroline Timus, Gail Bernier (Randy) and Beverly Dorsey (Kevon); and his grandchildren, Jada Drakeford, Emma DeGroat, Christina DeGroat, Kaitlyn Merrell, Matthew Trollinger, Athena Trollinger and Jameson Trollinger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
