We are sad to announce that, on March 20, 2026, at the age of 94, Robert Barlow Lee (Laurinburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Joe Lee; his brother Charlie Lee; his former spouse Marjie Green Dabbs; his grandfather Scott Young of Washington, DC.; his mother Mary Lee; and his siblings, Sarah, Lloyd, Tommy, Richard and Billy Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Lola; his children, Deborah L. Young of Jamestown, R. David Lee of Swansboro and Mary L. Thomas of Oak Island; and his friend Tom Newbrey of Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
