He was predeceased by: his parents, Kurtis Cleveland "KC" Barnhill and Elizabeth "Lizzie" McGee Barnhill; his significant other Celesta Faye Ray Barnhill; his granddaughter Jessica Barnhill; and his siblings, Issac C. Barnhill, Jesse L. Barnhill, Fairley Barnhill, Carolyn Arnette and Betty Quick.
He is survived by: his children, Samuel "Wayne" Barnhill (Carlette) of Oak Island, NC, Jeffrey "Dale" Barnhill (Bobbi) of Aledo, TX and Sonya "Celeste" Morton (Doug) of Pinehurst, NC; his grandchildren, Katie Barnhill, Lindsey Patino, Kristin Barnhill, Taylor Morton and Cameron Morton; his great grandchildren, Alysse Bellard, LeaOnna Bellard, Javaughn Bellard, Ociana Patino, Ariana Patino, Cameron Hanson and Sydney Schnare; and his great great grandchildren, Maddyx Faye, Sutton, Gracelynn, Wrenlee and Railynn. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family and devoted friends.
