She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Locklear and Betha Richardson Locklear of Scotland County, NC.; her siblings, Wilbert Locklear, Herman Locklear, Richard Locklear, Prentis Richardson, James Spencer Locklear, John Colon Locklear, Edward Locklear, Edith Strickland, Ada Locklear, Bertha Smith, Mary Elizabeth Reese, Nellie Strickland and Ella Smith; and her nephew Bobby Ray Locklear.
She is survived by: her daughter Fran Locklear; her grandchildren, Layton Locklear and Brisan Locklear; her daughter Leeann Locklear of Laurinburg; and her siblings, Claude Locklear (Jean) of Laurinburg, Lloyd Grady "Ray" Locklear of Laurinburg, Velma Strickland (Bracey) of Laurinburg and Lois Early of High Point. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and her extended family.
