Shirley Walker Watts Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Walker Watts (Laurinburg, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Tyre and Rose Bell Walker of Cabarrus County; her husband Gilbert Leon Watts; and her brothers, Pete Walker and Paul Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Kaye W. Hickman (Buddy) of Laurinburg, NC and Frank Watts (Elaine) of Statesville, NC; her grandchildren, Chris Watts (Christy), Ben Watts, Lisa Hickman and Blake Hickman; and her great grandchildren, Jaxon Watts and Lincoln Watts.
