We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2020, at the age of 72, Vera Gibson (Laurinburg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Quick, Sr. and Eula English Quick; her husband John "J. W."; and her brother William Clyde Quick. She is survived by: her children, John William "Buck" Gibson, Jr. (Christy) of McColl, SC and Vera Denise "Nessie" Bullard (Larry) of Laurinburg; and her siblings, William Joseph Quick, Jr. of Wagram, Jimmy Quick of Wagram, David "Wayne" Quick of Laurel Hill, Eli Locklear of Baltimore, MD, Brenda McKenzie of Laurinburg, Patsy Tart of McColl, Betty Emanuel of Wagram, Carlene Goodwin of Baltimore, MD and Francis Goins of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and many friends.

COVID-19 mandates require facial masks or coverings and limited attendance for all services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Gibson Pentecostal Holiness Church, 13780 Francis St., Gibson, NC 28343.
