He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Taylor and Beulah Grooms Taylor; his brothers, Charles Edward Taylor, Larry Mack Taylor and Roland "Ronnie" Taylor; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Chavis and Terry Deberry.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Chavis Taylor; his daughters, Rebecca Broughton of Gibson and Rachel Locklear (Nicky) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Amanda Leviner (Brooke), Kaitlyn Hunt, Taylor Hunt and Tyler Leviner; his great grandchildren, Damian Hunt, Ezra Leviner and Jayden Beatty; his pet Skrunk; and his close friends, James Chavis, Harold "Speedy" Quick and William Grooms.
