He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Mae Harrell Parker and James Charles Parker; and his siblings, Clayton, Pauline, Faye, Lila, Linda and Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Blauvelt Parker; his daughters, Keturah Parker and Brianne Waitzman (Samuel); his grandchildren, Mykala Pressley, Tatum Pressley and Nash Pressley; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Stiles and Brody Carpenter; his children, Eddie Parker and Kim Parker; and his sister Joan Stephens. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (3800 Polkville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150).
