He was predeceased by: his mother Carolyn Denton Sigmon; his son Ethan Ramsey; and his grandparents, Fred and Catherine Denton. He is survived by: his father Larry Garland Ramsey, Sr.; his daughters, Sarah Newton (Trey) of Cherryville and Taylor Ramsey of Charlotte; his stepdaughter Sher Martin (Jeff) of Fallston; his grandsons, Luke Galloway and Josiah Ramsey Newton; his sisters, Lisa Willis and Tracy Jones of Forest City; and his aunts and uncles, Melvin, Gracie Denton, Fred, Brenda Denton, Linda and Dickie Cornwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
