He was predeceased by: his parents, Austell Bettis, Jr. and Frances Blanton Bettis; and his brother Austell Bettis, III. He is survived by: his sister Lynn Daves of Lawndale; his foster daughter Haley; his former wife Gail Bettis of Shelby; and his sister-in-law Brenda Bettis of Boiling Springs. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephew.
