He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Brackett Waters; his son Jack Waters, Jr. (Lisa) of Lawndale; his sisters, Frieda Allen (Randy) of Tryon and Brenda Wright (Ernest) of Lake Norman; his grandchildren, Leah Willis, Cassie Lee (Brandon Lee) and Candie Waters (Avery Shoup); and his great grandchildren, Tucker Willis and Ellie Shoup-Waters.
