She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Chauncy and Annie Belle Fortenberry. She is survived by: her husband Billy; her children, Joey Gray (Alyson) of Kings Mountain, NC and Melissa Kennedy (Andrew) of Hillsborough, NC; her grandchildren, Stella, John, Emmett, Olivia, Mary-Allen, Ian, Jack, Eleanor and Vivian; her brother Carl Fortenberry (Debbie); and her niece Suzy.
