She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Buck" Elbridge Bridges and Bessie Eugenia Wright Bridges; her husband Robert Earl Walker; and her siblings, Andy Bridges, Jack Bridges and Shirley Bingham.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Walker (Candace) of Fallston and Tim Walker (Candis) of Boone; her grandchildren, Zeke Walker of Boone and Nathaniel Walker of Boone; and her son Adam Mitcham of Granite Falls. She is also survived by three nephews and four nieces.
