She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Anthony Schumacher and Audrey Patricia Schumacher; her former husband Thomas Casey; her husband Alvin Lowery; and her siblings, Audrey Schumacher, Joseph and Maurice Schumacher.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Casey, Lisa Thackerson (JR) and Shannon Hall (Eddie); her siblings, Paul Schumacher, Patricia Adamowicz and Cynthia Schumacher; her grandchildren, Joseph, Audrey Thackerson, Shelby Raposa (William), Daron Fortenberry Jr., Anthony and Hallie Jo Hall; and her great grandchildren, Javen and Charlotte Raposa.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery.
