She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Carswell and Annie Carswell; her husband Larry Joe "Joey" Davis; her daughter Vickey Newton (Jeff); and her siblings, Ross, Nelson, Reece of Robert, J. B., Fred, James, Loyd Carswell, Fannie Cope and Zennie Carswell.
She is survived by: her son Joel Davis (Rhonda) of Lincolnton; her sister Jane Cable (Gordon) of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Nicole Whitener (Aaron) and Zachary Davis (Melissa); and her great grandchildren, Blaze, Adalyn, Julian and Kox.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090).
