We announce the death of Vicky Turner of Lawndale, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 81. Vicky will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Roosevelt Hager and Britt Lee Hager Welch; her husband Joe E. Turner, Sr.; and her half-sister Nancy Hager Boggs. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hord (Jerry) of Shelby, NC, Joe E Turner, Jr. (Angela) and Sandy Plank (Eddie) of Lawndale; her grandsons, Joe E. Turner III (Brandy) and Christopher Turner; her great grandchildren, Levi Burkhalter, Lexi Turner and Remi Turner; her nieces, Leslie Bolick (Richard) and Debbie Hartwell; her nephew Brian Hager; Greg Hager.
