Jerry Plemmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, at the age of 86, Jerry Plemmons of Leicester, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jerry Plemmons to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Plemmons and Lona B. Braswell Plemmons; his sister Ann Braswell Plemmons; and his wife Rosalie Rogers Plemmons. He is survived by: his children, Lori Alexander (Bruce) of Asheville, NC and Tommy Plemmons of Kure Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Maggie of Asheville, NC and Jake Alexander of Asheville, NC; and his stepgranddaughters, Julia Alexander of Los Angeles, CA and Annie Alexander of Annapolis, MD.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the BIG Sandy United Methodist Church (393 Big Sandy Mush Rd, Leicester, NC 28748). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
This award is presented to North Carolinians who have made significant contributions to the state and their communities through exemplary service and exceptional accomplishments.
