He is survived by: his wife Brenda Deese Sweatte; and his children, Timmy Sweatte (Marcia) of Marion, NC, Sherry Petti (David) of Lexington, NC, Rhonda Unterreiner of Candler, NC, Debbie Smith (James) of Albemarle, NC and Chad Sweatte of Delray Beach, FL. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
