He is survived by: his children, Mike Meadows (Melody), Sherry Frisbee, Randy Meadows (Apple) and Dwight Meadows (Kim); his grandchildren, Amanda Barr (Jon), Jonathan Meadows (Gwen), Ashlee Ross, Courtney McHone (Ben), Cody Heatherly (Tiffany), Brooke Lankford (Mitchell), Autumn Robinson (Dillon), Trace Heatherly (Carlie) and Chloe Meadows; his great grandchildren, Trevor Ross, Ryleigh McHone, Kinsleigh McHone, Ellie Barr, Rayne Robinson, Parker McHone, Reese Barr, Maggie Lankford, Raelynn Robinson, McKenna Lankford, Morgan Lankford and Ivey Heatherly; and his friend Bernice Welch. He is also survived by "Pops" and "Papaw" by his family.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bell United Methodist Church (63 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
