He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Archibald Barringer and Mary Evans Foil Barringer; and his brother Robert Barringer. He is survived by: his wife Delores Countryman Barringer; his sons, Mark Barringer and Duncan Barringer (April); and his grandson Jaxon Barringer.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (12 N 6th St, Wilmington, NC 28401).
