He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Ida Reising Filzen. He is survived by: his father Phillip Joseph Filzen; his wife Patty; his children, Mike (Lucia), Gary, Mark (Angela), Tim, Kathy (Tim), Sherry, Mary Tracy (Jerry) and Kris (Allie); and his siblings, Frank and Patricia. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
