She was predeceased by: her parents, Verta Bates and Ernest Bates; and her brother E. F. Bates. She is survived by: her husband Forrest Meredith; her daughter Tina Minton (Denver); her grandson Kevin Dezern Dustin (Tonya); and her great grandchildren, Zoie, Bella and Asher Dezern. She is also survived by Seven nieces and nephews and many spiritual children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
