He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Balow and Lillian Balow; his brother Steve Balow; and his son-in-law Ed Boso. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Katie Mathews (Brian), Diana Boso and Dave Balow (Danielle); his grandchildren, Anthony Mathews (Téa Rose), Edwin Boso II, Lillian Boso, Owen Balow, Heidi Balow, Violet Boso, Annabelle Boso and Evelyn Balow; and his sisters, Connie Thompson (John) and Susan Miller (Don).
