Della Morris Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2025, at the age of 89, Della Morris of Leland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Della shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Della farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Judith Nestico (Frank) of Perth Amboy, NJ, Susan S. Thomas of Leland, NC and Donna Salmons of Fords, NJ; and her siblings, Victoria Evans (Ray) of Augusta, GA and Franklin D. Harrison, Sr. (Laura) of Bolivia, NC.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Freewill Baptist Church (88 Snowfield Rd SE, Leland, NC 28451). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
