It is with sadness that the passing of Ed Carroll (Leland, North Carolina) is shared. Ed, born on April 25, 1946, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Pritchette Carroll Sr. and Ruth Carroll; his stepfather Pete Rice; and his brother-in-law Cliff Rice. He is survived by: his wife Annie; his children, Scott (Sandi) and Melissa (Jeff); his grandchildren, Sara, Nathan, Emily (Joe), Holly (Austin), Zachary, Hannah (Jacob), Jordan (Chelsea), Harrison (Jennifer), Winston and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Lily, Bristol Annie, Maci and Raegan; his sister Ann; his nephew Jeff (Mercy); and his friend Ed.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral (525 Village Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451).
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Ed's memory to consider a donation to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, an organization supporting our nation's fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, veterans, and their families.
