She was predeceased by: her husbands, Edward Ray Lassiter and Glenn Couch; her daughter Linda Lassiter Sellers; her sons-in-law, Jackson and Timothy Sellers; her parents, Josephine Strickland and Carl Worrell; and her brother James Barry "JB" Worrell.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Lassiter Witz, Brenda Lassiter Jackson and Eddie Ray Lassiter (Tracey); her grandchildren, Brian Witz (Kristin), Amber Jackson Tibbetts, Jason Sellers (Emilie), Dewey Jackson II, Christen Jackson Cokes (Justin), Tyler Lassiter (Jordan) and Kaci Lassiter; her great grandchildren, Taylor Tibbetts, Joseph Witz, Walker Witz, Jackson Krishingner, Madison Sellers, Justin Cokes Jr., Chase Sellers, Reagan Sellers, Eleanor "Ellie" Gray Cokes, Sadie Lassiter and Riley Lassiter; and her sister Selma Lee Whitley (Ernest).
