It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Joseph Markulic of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gary Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gary Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Markulic and Mary Markulic. He is survived by: his wife Janet Lynn McElligott; his sister Marlene Kucsma; and his pets, Kylie and Minnie.
