He was predeceased by : his parents, George Murle McDaniel, Sr. and Ada Hester Johnson McDaniel. He is survived by : his siblings, Harold Edward McDaniel (Jean) of Charlotte and Patricia Jean Ziesing of St. Peterburg, FL; and his close friend Randy Hohnstreiter of Leland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (125 S 3rd St, Wilmington, NC 28401). A burial will be held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM.
