With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda DeVane of Leland, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda DeVane to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Calvin Pleasants and Virginia Estelle Willis Pleasants; and her son Randy Crews Fiancée Theresa. She is survived by : her husband James DeVane; her sister Alicia West of Raleigh, NC; her children, Valerie Lauter (Roger), Frankie Crews (Elsie) and James Kevin DeVane; her grandchildren, Trisha, Nicolas, Roger Jr., Ashley, Nathan, Bud, Brandon, Frankie and Charity; her great grandchildren, Kaden, Kennedy, Kenny, Keaton, Ava, Tinsley, Addison, Atticus, Bailey, Thomas, Robert, Jacob, Camron, Cadee, Hunter, Hayvn, Hudson, Kayla, Ayden, Ravan, Kyli, Klana and Jackson; and her great great grandchild Aubrie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warriors or The Ronald McDonald House.
