She was predeceased by: her sister Mary Nell Dukes (Thomas); and her daughter Vanessa Harrell. She is survived by: her sisters, Shirley Faye McLaughlin (Victor), Barbara Worsham (Ramon) and Naomi Roberts (Gregory); her spouse Armstrong Harrell; her child Vertella Parker; and her grandchildren, Deneisha Renee Corbin, Rhea Lynne Harrell, Tarik Tru Parker and Destiny Malika-Nisa Parker. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, and four beloved great-grandchildren.
