She is survived by: her children, Samuel Lee Gilstrap, Beau Patrick Gilstrap and Mary Claire; her grandchildren, Anna Leigh, Adam, Isabella, Gabriella and Filip; and her brothers, James Edmonds and Jack Edmonds.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jude's Metropolitan Community Church (19 N 26th St, Wilmington, NC 28405).
