It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Lee Thornton of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on June 21, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Nancy Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including her eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to "Children in Christ", a local youth camp that is funded solely through donations and fundraisers by camp volunteers, so that kids can attend camp free for a week each summer.
