Peggy Walker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Walker of Leland, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norva Hart and Hubert Hart; her husband Ralph Lewis Walker of Goldsboro; her brothers, Charles, Gordon and James Hart; and her children, Chris Powell and Donna Barbre.
She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Wehbie; her stepson Steve Walker; her son-in-law Tony Barbre; her grandchildren, Michael Barbre, Jen, Megan Lawson, Wade, Elliott Barbre, Amanda Ellis, Will, James Wehbie, Shalyn, Zack Walker and Cannon; and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Tucker Wehbie, Liam, Wright Ellis and Cayden Walker.
