He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Richey; and his brother John Arthur Richey. He is survived by: his father Robert Richey; his wife Rita Marie Richey; his son Eric Matthew Richey (Stephanie); and his brother Mark Edward Richey. He is also survived by two nephews; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilmington Funeral & Cremation - Leland Chapel (525 Village Rd NE, Leland, NC 28451).
