It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sallie Hardee Johnston (Leland, North Carolina), born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on August 27, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Hardee and Ethel Johnson Hardee; her husband Carl Johnston, Sr.; and her son Bobby Johnston. She is survived by: her children, Carl Johnston, Jr. (Debbie), Sandra Watts (Mark) and Debbie Carroll (Glen); and her daughter-in-law Joann Johnston. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
