She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hartley and Carrie Hartley; and her brother Granville Hartley. She is survived by: her husband Roy William Harris; her children, Ronnie Harris, Wesley Harris (Lisa), Mark Harris, Matthew Harris (Michelle) and Joy Harris; her siblings, John Edward Hartley (Debbie), Nina Hicks (James) and Gladys Keller; and her grandchildren, Zane, Kayah and MeKenzie. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Service & Crematory (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
