It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Celestine Smith of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2026, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Pansy Smith; and her siblings, Hillard Smith, Bob Smith, Rodney Smith, Willard Guy Smith, Dale Smith and Sandra Miller.
She is survived by: her siblings, Penny Smith, Sabra Haigler and Danny Smith. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to North Catawba Baptist Church.
