Benny Mearl Walsh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benny Mearl Walsh of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Walsh and Junie Keller Walsh; his wife Geraldine Davis Walsh; and his siblings, Roy, Carl "Buddy" Walsh, Ann Enloe and Peggy Soots.

He is survived by : his children, Darrin Walsh (Elaine) of Lenoir, David Walsh (Michelle) of Conover, Cindy Walsh Philyaw (Jesse) of Lenoir and Teresa Walsh Cox (Jeff) of Lexington, SC; and his sisters, Barbara Peterson and Nancy Ferguson. He is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
