She is survived by: her daughter Starla Cox of Lenoir; and her sisters, Kathy Philyaw of Lenoir, Virginia Coffey of Granite Falls and Tammy Ogle of Cana, Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
