He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joe Miller and Vernie Verlee Watson Miller; his son Brian Quick; his sister Carolyn Pritchard; and his sister-in-law Robin Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Vanessa Quick Miller; his children, Tamela Coffey, Alnitha Miller, Chad Miller, Lynn Gilbert (Mark), Angela Martin (Jerry), Tara Hamrick (Jordan) and Shannon Quick; and his sisters, Linda Bradshaw (Lee), Kathy Pritchard (Terry) and Tammy Turner (Paul). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (3007 Morganton Blvd SW, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
