He was predeceased by: his parents, Estella Jones Cornett and Scott Tway Cornett; and his sisters, Gladys Church (Blaine), Pearl Price (Burl) and Laura Adams (Everett).
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Cornett; his children, Douglas Cornett (Susan) and Tana Tucker (Melvin Wilson Jr.); his grandchildren, Jordan Cornett Tucker (Kamron), Madison Cornett and Terrence Tucker (Valerie Gragg); his great grandchildren, Raegan Tucker, Memphis Gragg and Jameson Tucker; and his siblings, Bradley Cornett (Marlene) and Della Jones (Thomas).
