He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Ray Kidd; his grandparents, Mildred, Sidney Hatley, Jim and Mae Nelson; and his stepfather Sonny Lewis.
He is survived by: his mother Martha Mae Hatley Lewis; his siblings, Kenny Kidd (Shellie) of Lenoir and Annissa Fronius (George) of Hudson; his sons, Donald, Cody and Dustin; and his close friend Rachel. He is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
