He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Bolick and Macie Bolick; his wife Shirley Rich Bolick; his son Edward Bolick; and his siblings, Treva Austin (Atwell), Reba Ford (Alfred), Lena Tignor (Clarence), Lester Bolick (Ruby) and Dell Bolick.
He is survived by: his son Charles Bolick; his grandchildren, Crystal Bolick of Asheville, Matthew Bolick (Callen) of Sammamish, Forrest Bolick of Boone and River Bolick of Boone; his great grandchildren, Jack Bolick of Sammamish, Washington, Flynn Bolick of Sammamish, Washington and Simon Bolick of Sammamish, Washington; his daughter-in-law Cynthia Bolick of Boone; his siblings, Alice Hicks (Roger) of Lenoir, Elizabeth Pope (Jim) of Lenoir, Glenn Bolick (Lou) of Lenoir and Dan Bolick (Wanda) of Lenoir; and his siblings-in-law, Ina Bolick of Lenoir, Beatrice Cooper of Scottsville, Kentucky, James Rich of Adolphus and Johnny Rich of Scottsville, Kentucky. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Bailey's Camp Baptist Church (9195 Blackberry Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street NE, Lenoir NC 28645.
