He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Thompson, Amy Thompson and Jennifer Thompson; his stepsons, Larry Reid II and Randy Reid; his grandchildren, Lilana Lopez, Julian Thompson, Kristina Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Alydiah Thompson, Kristofer McGill, Daiven Thompson, Emryn Thompson, Kiana Thompson (Lilly), Larry Reid III and Jaxon Reid; his great grandchildren, Mateo Lopez Torres and Brookelynn Lopez Torres; and his brothers, Tom Miller and Clifton Thompson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Service & Crematory (1070 Taylorsville Rd SE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
