Carness Wilson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 79, Carness Wilson of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carness had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Carness may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carness Wilson Sr. and Louise Bixel Wilson; his wife Martha Jane Barlowe Wilson; his son Daniel Matthew Wilson; and his brothers, Donald Wilson, Randy Isenhour and David Isenhour.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Wilson; his sisters, Cheryl Alexander (Ronnie), Beverly Lopez (David) and Francel Noriega; his close friend Lena Bumgardner; and his pet Bub. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Gardens (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640).
