With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Greene of Lenoir, North Carolina, who passed away on November 1, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Shepherd and Eula Osborne Shepherd; her daughter Angela Lynn Stuart; and her sister Brenda Shepherd Blevins. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Dale Greene; her sons, David C. Stuart (Judith) and Phillip F. Stuart (Carol); her stepchildren, Dawn Moose (Glen) and Nick Greene; her grandchildren, Justin Stuart (Olivia), Jordan Stuart (Lauren), Emily Stuart Franklin (Garrison), Christina Stuart, Miranda Stuart Miller (Jordon) and Garrett Icard; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Jackson, Lainey, Benjamin, Logan Stuart, Sophie and Emma Miller; and her sister Reda Elliott of Ashe County.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 30105, or Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
