She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Sanders and Beatrice Sanders; and her sister Becky Watson. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Yates of Lenoir and Beverly Ward of Lenoir; her sisters, Nancy Crump of Boone, Nettie Chester and Peggy Bryant; her brother-in-law Spencer Watson; and her nephew Greg Mason of Lenoir.
