He is survived by : his wife Rosa Watkins; his daughter Julia Ramos (Matthew Coffey) of Naples; his stepdaughters, Kelly Wellborn (Kurt) of Lenoir, Lisa Hart of Lenoir, Traci Williams (Jason) of Lenoir and Beverly Bowman of Lenoir; and his brother Rocky Watkins of Miami, Florida.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
