He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke Miller and Marie Jones Miller of High Point, NC; his son David Joseph Miller; his sisters, Loretta Lee, Judith Nell Boykin, Patricia Kiker, Dolly Craven and Debbie Edgerton; and his former wife Bessie Ann Craig Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Babb Miller; and his brother James Miller (Ann) of Laurel Springs, NC. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crest View Baptist Church (1908 Blowing Rock Blvd, Lenoir, NC 28645). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Crest View Baptist Church Building Fund or The Gideons International.
