He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl Williams and Ada Phillips Williams; his wife Nicie Elena Parton Williams; his grandchildren, James Bradley Williams, Holly Suzanne Haynes, Joshua Grant Hamm and Kyle Caudill; his great grandchildren, Connor Lynn Townsend and Elijah Grant Hamm; and his siblings, Vester Lee Williams, Connie Hollar and Lucille Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Douglas Williams of Lenoir, Jeffrey Scott Williams (Amy) of Lenoir, Susan Diane Williams Hamm of Lenoir and Kathy Williams Turnmire (Greg) of Glen Allen, VA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Pendry's Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pendry's Chapel (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
Memorial donations may be made to AMOREM Hospice, Disabled American Veterans, or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
